The Control4
(C4) is the central command center. The C4 is the gateway blending the distributed audio
system with the 10/100 home network. The configuration and control is
processed and delivered from
a number of optional PC centric devices. Computers, laptops, web tablets and other
devices can configure or
operate the RS-3000. The C4 uses the C-PS power supply provided.

The DH1
is an integral part of the system and in conjunction with the C4 integrates IntelliNet Controls
networked devices with the LAN network in the home. The DH1 is the RS-3000 digital
network hub that provides the input and output connections. The DH1 is an
interpreter and communicates all IC RS-485 network functions. The C4 communicates
with the system
over the LAN network in the home through the DH1.
The DH1 uses the DH-PS power
supply provided.
