These
days we find ourselves limiting the amount of space we can use for our
woofer enclosures, our cars have more electrical limitations also. In
part,
the Class D type amplifiers work great for the electrical issues, so we
designed a woofer not needing a lot of space for it to perform well and
still be a good match up with Class D amps. With our acknowledgement of
the optimal performance
levels of most of these amplifiers we designed the PW3 to provide the
minimum
impedance in those applications. Dual 2 Ohm voice coils will deliver a
much
better impedance match to most class D amps than any other DVC
format.
